You can visit any of our branches and register in person. Your registration is valid at all branches.
- Fill in the registration form – on paper or via the online pre-registration
- Pay the registration fee
- The librarian will issue your library card in your preferred format:
- Paper card – laminated format
- Electronic – linked to your ISIC/ITIC card, public transport card, or biometric ID
- Digital – stored in your smartphone’s Google/Apple Wallet

- Fill in the pre-registration form in the online catalogue.
- Transfer the appropriate registration fee to the library’s bank account:

- Students, seniors over 60, parents on maternity leave: €2.00
- Children under 15, persons with disabilities: €1.00
- Variable symbol: 9
- Message for recipient: Name of the registered reader
- QR code for scanning via your mobile banking app (after scanning, enter the appropriate amount and your name in the message field):
- Once the payment has been credited to the library’s bank account, you will receive an email confirming the activation of your account (usually within 2 working days).
After your library account is activated, you can immediately borrow eBooks or place a loan request for a printed book via the online catalogue.
- Transfer the required amount to the library’s bank account:

- QR code for scanning in your mobile banking app (after scanning, enter the correct amount and your library card number as the variable symbol):
- Once the payment is received and processed (usually within 2 working days), your outstanding fee will be marked as paid.
You can easily save your library card to your smartphone using the Google or Apple Wallet app.
You can request a digital card during registration at a library branch, or activate it yourself later:
- Log in to the online catalogue (using your email and password or your library card number and default PIN).
- Click your name in the top-right corner and then select Digital Card.
- Once the card is created, scan the QR code or download it via the activation link.
With a digital library card, you get several benefits:
- It displays additional information – number of loans, registration expiry, contact details, and more.
- It’s eco-friendly – no plastic card needed.
- As long as you don’t lose your phone, you won’t lose your card. 🙂
